Synopsis
When Samantha is stuck by lightning on a tree planting block in the rugged mountains of British Columbia, she is propelled into an astral world she can neither accept nor deny. Ricocheting between the realms of science and magic, she struggles to learn how to harness the new powers she is developing. Her father’s indigenous heritage speaks of a spirit filled world where Shaman ride the clouds and Ancestors walk the ancient garden. But here in her real and scientific world, family members are dying, and her best friend is violated in the worst way imaginable. Her retribution is fierce and final. When she learns that not only her friends and family, but the survival of all Humankind is at stake, her preservationist instincts and her strength will be tested to the max. Who or What will prevail?
